Arizona rock band Four of a Kind has released its debut single, “Victory,” now available across major streaming platforms.

Released August 9, 2026, “Victory” introduces Four of a Kind with a driving rock sound rooted in the energy and immediacy of classic rock while establishing a contemporary identity of its own. The song centers on perseverance — overcoming challenges, believing in what is possible and continuing forward despite doubt or discouragement.

“Victory is about believing in what you’re capable of, even when others tell you it can’t be done,” said bassist and songwriter Joseph “Joe Boogie” Heinl. “That message reflects the spirit of Four of a Kind. We believe in great songs, real musicianship and the energy of live rock music, and we want to help bring that excitement back to audiences.”

Heinl founded Four of a Kind in spring 2025, developing the band around an original catalog, a defined musical direction and a distinct visual identity. He wrote the initial material that summer and began developing the songs with an earlier lineup. Following a lineup change in early 2026, drummer Ryan Puddy, guitarist Henry Smith and lead vocalist Jesse Minton joined Heinl to form the current lineup.

Together, the current lineup has continued to shape the material collaboratively, with each member contributing to the arrangements, performances and evolving sound of the band.

Heinl also brings prior label experience as a founding member and songwriter of the nu-metal band Dislocated Styles, which was signed to Roadrunner Records and worked with rock producer Howard Benson, whose credits include My Chemical Romance, Papa Roach and Three Days Grace.

“Victory” was recorded in June 2026 at STEM Recording in Paradise Valley, Arizona, with engineers Thomas Laufenberg and Curtis Grippe. Laufenberg also mixed the track at his studio in Scottsdale.

The debut single marks the first official release from the current lineup and the beginning of a broader goal: creating original rock music, building a strong live show and helping renew enthusiasm for experiencing rock music in a live setting. Four of a Kind recently brought that approach to the stage with its first performance at Pub Rock Live in Scottsdale.

Rather than attempting to recreate the past, Four of a Kind draws from the directness, musicianship and energy associated with classic rock while bringing those qualities into a modern setting. With “Victory” released and its first show behind it, the band is continuing to build its catalog and live presence in Arizona.

Four of a Kind is an Arizona rock band founded in 2025 by bassist Joseph “Joe Boogie” Heinl. The current lineup consists of Heinl on bass, Jesse Minton on lead vocals, Henry Smith on guitar and Ryan Puddy on drums.
